Finding Opportunities, Building Teams
Our team within the Vice President for Research and Economic Affairs is charged with promoting ASU research by identifying and developing funding opportunities and facilitating large-scale strategic projects.
We identify and provide searchable, weekly updated lists of opportunities for the ASU research community from a variety of sources:
- Federal Grants and Contracts including American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) stimulus opportunities
- Foundation resources in conjunction with the ASU Foundation
- Science Foundation Arizona
Our goal is to strategically plan for the research future of ASU based on trends in research funding and internal expertise and strategic opportunities.
A primary focus is large scale, Multi-Million Dollar, Multi-Investigator, Multi-Year, Multi-Institution ("4M") strategic opportunities which require significant business development and project management efforts to be competitive.
PRIDE strives to identify funding opportunities, develop teams and strategies for responding to research opportunities, and facilitate management of strategic projects that improve the scope and quality of research at ASU. We partner with organizations across the university to improve processes and solve problems for our researchers.
