PRIDE team members believe in helping you succeed in your research funding quest. We provide monthly training sessions, have online asynchronous training for your convenience and are available for special on-site training if necessary.
PRIDE is available to provide training to the ASU community on Community of Science (COS), the comprehensive searchable database of funding opportunities subscribed to by ASU for use by faculty, staff and graduate students. Training format can vary from general overview to hands-on training. Available to any unit at your location. We regularly follow up with training participants to ensure their success in establishing useful funding alerts and utilizing expertise profiles. Contact us if you are interested in scheduling training for your unit.
This hands-on workshop will introduce faculty and staff to the basics of foundation, corporation, and government grant research and help to identify funding opportunities using the ORSPA website of funding resources. Workshop participants will also learn how to setup automatic funding alerts based on their individual research interests, and will be able to access their profiles in the ASU Expertise & Collaboration database. Faculty and staff will learn how to use funding research as part of a strategic effort with short and long term funding goals.
